3. Cam Reddish to get out of his offensive funk

When Cam Reddish is hitting on all cylinders on the offensive side of the ball – the Blue Devils become virtually unstoppable. Versus Kentucky Reddish went off for twenty-two points and the Blue Devils looked unstoppable. As of late Reddish has fell into a bit of a funk shooting the ball.

When Reddish joined the star-studded Blue Devil team he was considered the best three-point shooter in the incoming class. Even with his shooting funk – Reddish is still the third best shooter from behind the arc on this Duke team. Reddish is shooting 35.6 percent from the three-point line and averaging around seven three-point attempts per game.

Through the shooting funk Reddish has not let his defensive effort sway. Instead, he has been one of the best defenders for the Blue Devils. Versus Princeton and Texas Tech he was able to jump passing lanes, steal in-bounds passes, and lock-up the opposing player. This has been the case all year for Reddish – these attributes were showcased however in these last two games.

The Blue Devils should not be extremely concerned about Reddish at this time. He has an excellent shooting stroke that will eventually get his shot falling again. But in the meantime, Reddish has found other ways to be an important piece on the floor.
