The “They’re Still Undefeated” Award – Nevada Wolf Pack

Five unbeatens remain in college basketball. The 12-0 Nevada Wolf Pack are the only mid-majors left standing on the list after Buffalo and Furman fell by the wayside.

The Bulls remain in the Top-25 after a 103-85 loss to at No. 20 Marquette thanks to the heroics of Markus Howard. The Paladins, however, dropped out after 75-57 loss to LSU.

Shouts to the Wolf Pack who COULD feasibly run the table in the regular season with no currently ranked teams left on the schedule.

Best Mid-Major Matchup – UNC Greensboro 83 Samford 75

Francis Alonso (30) and Isaiah Miller (20) combined for 50 points to lead the UNC-G Spartans over the Samford Bulldogs on the road. The Bulldogs were led by a quartet of double-figures scorers in this bout between two Southern Conference foes with double-digit wins. The SoCon had quite a nonconference season.
