Big East Basketball has some of the best guards in the country. Which one of them has the inside track for Conference Player of the Year?

Big East Basketball has been one of the best conferences in College Basketball the last handful of years. The conference is responsible for two of the last three National Champions. The conference is loaded with hall of fame coaches and tradition rich programs. Every single night in conference the teams are going to get a battle. The gauntlet of this league is extremely hard to prepare for every single night.

The Conference is also known for its star power. The league has always had a handful of star players who stand out from the rest of the players in the nation. This year is no exception, some may say that the traditional powers in the league of Villanova, Butler and Creighton are going to experience down seasons. The truth of the matter is that this league is as wide open as it ever has been and that means exciting basketball every night in the conference.

The five players listed below are those players who exemplify what it is like to play in the Big East. These players can score, defend, and are going to be talked about as some of the best players in the entire country the entire season. Many of the players on this list are going to be mentioned for the National awards as well as the conference awards.

Every one of these players is vital to their teams’ success. Without the following five players none of these teams would be anywhere near as good as they are. Can all these players lead their teams to the NCAA tournament?
