Michigan Basketball starts back up the conference schedule with Penn State on Thursday night. Can they stay undefeated and move to 3-0 in Big Ten play?
Matchup: Penn State Nittany Lions (7-6) at Michigan Wolverines (13-0)
Date and time: Thursday, Dec. 3 at 7:00 p.m. ET
TV schedule: ESPN
Location: Crisler Center, Ann Arbor, MI
The Wolverines will finally get back to playing a normal schedule when they open back up Big Ten play by hosting Penn State. Michigan has played just three games since their win against South Carolina on December 8th. The week off between each game has seemed to slow the Wolverines a little bit as they had sluggish starts in each one of those games.
Defensively they have seemed a little off since the beginning of the year and offensively they look rusty. Even with the slow starts to the past three games they have pulled away and won rather easily. Western Michigan did put up a pretty good fight, but Michigan controlled most of the second half even though the score was relatively close.
Michigan will welcome finally playing games every few days and will look to get back into rhythm. They will face Indiana this weekend before heading to Illinois next Thursday for their first road game in over a month.
Penn State can be a pesky team and has given Michigan problems in the past. So what do the Wolverines need to do in order to win the game and stay unbeaten?
