12) Tulane Green Wave (4-9)

There is no doubt who the worst team in the American is.

Tulane is the only program that currently has a losing record and put forth a really dismal effort in their opener against Cincinnati on Wednesday night, losing 93-61. That loss is the latest in a three-game losing streak and is their eighth loss in a 10-game stretch.

Their biggest problems come down to turnovers and rebounding. The Green Wave rank 286th nationally in turnover rate while also ranking among the worst teams in forcing turnovers. They’re even worse on the glass, ranking 266th in offensive rebounding rate and 309th in defensive rebounding rate.

The bottom line is that Tulane simply doesn’t have the talent to match up with most teams on their schedule. Sophomore Caleb Daniels has solidified himself as their only reliable offensive threat, and their poor offense has also played a major role in their losing streak.

Unfortunately for the Green Wave, it doesn’t look like this losing trend will be ending anytime soon.
