NCAA Basketball is nearing conference play and we have some really good mid-major teams. It’s never to early to start talking about potential teams that could bust your bracket.

People love filling out brackets for the NCAA Tournament. Millions of people do it every year and still, nobody comes close to filling out a perfect one. There’s always at least a couple of teams that pull off a major upset that busts your bracket. That’s the whole fun of it though. The upsets are what makes this tournament so fun and the satisfaction you get from picking a major upset correctly is like no other.

Last season, we saw the first ever No. 16 seed to beat a No. 1 seed when UMBC shocked the world when they beat Virginia 74-54. It was shocking that they won the game but it wasn’t just a win. They completely dominated the game and they pulled away big in the second half. This season, we have some mid-majors that are Final Four contenders in Nevada and Gonzaga. Buffalo has also shown they may be in that same class.

Those three are excluded from this list for obvious reasons. They won’t be surprising anybody when March Madness comes around. Here are 10 mid-major teams that could pull off that huge upset in this year’s tournament. Not all of these teams will even be able to make the tournament but if they do keep a close eye where they are placed in the bracket.
