A few teams are beginning to separate themselves at the top, but Atlantic 10 Basketball is still largely up for grabs as we head into conference play.

Now that conference play is beginning, it seems like an appropriate time to take a look at where each team stands after the non-con slate. We’ve learned a lot since the first games on November 6th – four teams have separated themselves at the top, the middle of the pack is enormous, and the bottom is, well, bad. The bottom line, however, is that there are no world-beaters this season – nearly every team has bad losses on their resume, and even the best teams have shown weaknesses, whether it be depth, coaching, or offensive production.

I expect a lot to change between now and even the next couple of weeks (when I’ll drop my next power rankings), but this is how I see the teams ranking to this point. I took into account things like good wins, bad losses, offensive and defensive efficiency, the eye-test, and momentum. So, here they are, the A10 teams from 14-1.
