Indiana basketball is already ranked in the national top-25. How can the Hoosiers continue this hot start with a road matchup against Michigan approaching?

Conference play is here and all can rejoice! After two months of cupcake matchups with a few headliners sprinkled in, conference play is here and top teams are seemingly matched up every single day. And considering the Big Ten is one of the deepest and most talented conferences in the nation, every matchup is must-watch TV. Above all others, though, the best Big Ten game of this weekend might come in Ann Arbor as Indiana basketball travels on the road to take on Michigan.

This will be a battle of two top-25 teams in the nation and should be extremely fun to watch. Both of these teams have gotten off to very solid starts this year as they have consistently risen up the rankings so far. Indiana currently sits at No. 21 while Michigan has climbed all the way up to No. 2. Given these rankings and the home-court advantage, the Wolverines will likely be the reasonably heavy favorite in this game but that doesn’t mean anyone should count out the Hoosiers.

With that said, though, it would take an incredibly impressive performance by Indiana to pull out the upset win on the road. So with the game quickly approaching, let’s break down three potential keys to success for the Hoosiers against the Wolverines.
