Butler basketball played great against Creighton but has another tough test ahead. How can the Dawgs take down Seton Hall on the road?

Butler basketball snagged a much-needed win this past weekend when they took down Creighton at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Behind tremendous effort and energy from the entire team, the Dawgs were able to jump out to an early lead in that game and ride a strong performance from star player Kamar Baldwin to take the victory. This was arguably Butler’s most complete performance of the year and the team has a major opportunity coming up to prove that it has turned the corner.

This opportunity will come on the road against Seton Hall, a team that has exceeded expectations early on this season. The Pirates, though, are coming off of an extremely disappointing loss to DePaul on the road. Because of this defeat, you can expect that Kevin Willard’s team will ready to defend their home court and get back on track.

In my opinion, this has the potential to be a really fun game. Kamar Baldwin vs. Myles Powell is an awesome individual matchup and both teams have the potential to finish in the upper half of the conference. As I have mentioned in the past, the Big East might be in a down season based on talent but the competition level each night should be ridiculously high and this matchup could be an example of that.

Now, let’s dive into three potential keys to victory for Butler basketball.
