With less than two months until Selection Sunday, bracketology is heating up around the nation. Where does the projected field stand at this point in time?

Selection Sunday is almost here! Okay, well, there are still two whole months left until the fateful day but I’m allowed to be excited, right? NCAA basketball season is speeding along and it seems as though there is an elite game to watch/follow every single night. Additionally, since there are very few dominant teams in the nation, bracketology changes by the day as teams drop games or secure resume-boosting victories.

As always, this bracketology update will feature my updated projected field of 68 (all four regions) as well as a little breakdown of the bubble and bids by conference. I also wrote words on some teams that I am most intrigued by in each region at this point in time. Due to how many tremendous games were played during this past week, there were plenty of changes in my projected field. Several teams moved multiple seed lines and three teams secured at-large bids that did not a week ago.

Note: This bracketology update, like all of mine, is based on what I believe the committee would do if the tournament started right now. In saying this, I mean that I do my best to exclude any personal biases that I might have. In order to maintain as much objectivity as I can, my first scrub through numbers/resumes is done with team names redacted. Of course, there is more to each resume than just numbers so there is some personal input, but I try to refrain from bias and see resumes through the committee’s eyes.

Now, without any further ado, let’s dive into this edition of my bracketology projected field of 68.
