In another week of NCAA Basketball, plenty of teams took some bad losses. Which of them hurt themselves in terms of Bracketology the most?

This was one of the more crazier weeks in college basketball, with a number of teams from the top-25 taking losses. A couple of them such as No. 8 Texas Tech took a pair of defeats this week.

It’s expected in conference play, with the students now back to make road games all the more difficult to deal with. Losses are going to happen but that doesn’t mean that consequences come from them.

Those consequences are, of course, varying depending on the teams involved. For a team like the Red Raiders, they were already in a strong position seeding-wise, to begin with. Plus, losing to Iowa State and Baylor are far from bad losses. So from a Bracketology standpoint, they had some wiggle room to avoid a 0-2 week.

Others don’t have that same kind of wiggle room. A team who nearly made this list was Minnesota, who lost by 30+ points to Illinois, one of the worst teams in the Big Ten. They made up for it on Saturday with a win over Penn State to avoid even more trouble but the Gophers will have to make up for the Illini defeat down the road.

There were teams who had even worse weeks, including a pair of Big Ten programs who didn’t do themselves any favors with their performances. Here’s a breakdown of five teams who have some Bracketology issues now.
