This past week featured many teams dropping games. With that said, though, some teams managed to snag huge victories for their bracketology profile.

Another week of NCAA basketball is complete and therefore it is time to dive into the bracketology winners of the week. As always, this piece will break down some of the teams that helped their bracketology case most over the past seven days. This can be in the form of a top team securing highly-valuable wins that could shoot them up a seed line (or two) or bubble teams who landed a couple of wins that pushed them into safer position or closer to the cutline if they were already out.

During last week’s edition of this piece, I covered 10 teams that were among the biggest winners. This past week, though, featured more bubble teams dropping games than moving up the rankings. Therefore, this piece will only break down five key winners (as it had for the first two months of the year). As the season continues to wear on,  these winners will mean more and more as the bubble shrinks and teams start to solidify exactly where they belong in the projected fields.

For now, though, let’s take a dive into analyzing which teams secure the most important wins of the last week. This edition will start with three “bubble teams” that made significant moves and then break down two of the higher-rated teams who posted arguably the best weeks of any team in the nation. Now, without any further ado, let’s get into it.
