After a little over a month into conference play, there has been a major shift at the top of the Big 12 Basketball Power Rankings.

Big 12 Basketball is a whole lot to keep up with.

We knew that the Big 12 would be a balanced conference. We anticipated some surprise teams. I don’t think we at all expected the craziness that has been the 2018-19 Big 12 Basketball season.

Let me just summarize:

  • Kansas has three losses in conference play, all of which on the road.
  • Texas Tech was the last remaining unbeaten team in conference play, before rattling off three consecutive losses.
  • Eight teams in the Big 12 have been ranked as one point or another this season, with a ninth team soon to come.

Alright alright enough of the spoilers. Nonetheless, it has been an absolutely chaotic first month of conference play in the Big 12, and it isn’t slowing down one bit. We are in for a wild final month-and-a-half, even though conference play is really just getting started.

Stars have emerged. Injuries have occurred. Suspensions have been imposed. The 2019 rendition of the Big 12 Conference has truly had it all this season.

But like I said; we’re just getting started. There are over one hundred conference play games remaining, and if the first month was an indicator of anything, the Big 12 is just warming up.

In all likelihood, we’ll be seeing anywhere from six to eight teams from the Big 12 in the NCAA Tournament. Those teams are becoming clearer and clearer by the week, and we’ve got it all laid out for you below.

Without further delay, let’s get into it. Here are your updated Big 12 Basketball Power Rankings.
