Several teams were able to secure major resume-building victories during this past week. Who were the biggest bracketology winners, though?

Another week of NCAA basketball is complete and with that many teams snagged some big-time wins. On the whole, several teams struggled to secure wins but that just made each win by a bubble team all that more important. Given this, there were a few teams who really separated themselves from the pack over the past week to be featured in this edition of my bracketology winners.

As always, this piece tends to focus on those teams that are currently sitting on the bubble or those who recently played their way firmly into the field. Of course, I still want to give credit to top teams who recorded a couple of huge wins during the same week, though, so not every winner needed their performances to improve their potential odds at selection. For some teams, it is all about fighting for seeding at this point and those teams should be rewarded as well.

On the whole, there is still plenty of time left in the season for teams to make moves and therefore there will surely be many other bracketology winners throughout the rest of the year. With that said, though, this edition breaks down five of those teams that recorded the biggest weeks for their bracketology profile. This could in the form of a mid-major snagging a resume-building in-conference win, a bubble team continuing a hot streak, or one of the better teams in the nation simply taking down difficult opponents.

Let’s dive in.
