Although not many teams fell out of the NCAA basketball power rankings this week, there were a ton of shifts, most notably from Kentucky and Texas Tech.

Another week in NCAA basketball is complete and that means another edition of my top-25+ power rankings is here! Since I have posted this throughout the year, I feel like an introduction is not all that necessary so I will just jump right into it! (*Joker voice* “…and here. we. go.”)

This top-25+ piece is updated based on results through Feb. 3. Also, all of the statistics used in this article were found via Sports-Reference or KenPom unless otherwise noted.

Others to watch…

Florida State Seminoles: Although they have not secured a top-notch win as of late, Florida State has won three consecutive games to get back into heavy consideration for the rankings. They have a tough couple of games coming up, though, with road matchup with Syracuse and a home meeting with Louisville up next.

Auburn Tigers: Auburn’s resume might not be great but they did add a couple of solid home wins during this past week over Missouri and Alabama. The Tigers are better than their record but they will need to show that in the coming weeks.

Kansas State Wildcats: Kansas State won its only game this week (over Oklahoma State at home) but it was not enough to return to the rankings. The Wildcats have still won six of their last seven, though, so they are a team to watch out for.

Iowa Hawkeyes: After losing back-to-back games, Iowa got back on track in a big way this past week by taking down Michigan. The Hawkeyes continue to be impressive this season and could return to the rankings soon.

Wofford Terriers: Wofford has won 11 straight games and they sit at 19-4 (11-0 SoCon) on the year. I think that basically summarizes this section.

Fell out of the rankings: Oklahoma (25).
