Rutgers had their three-game winning streak snapped by Ohio State over the weekend or they may have jumped the Buckeyes in the rankings. The Scarlet Knights still have not to beat anybody great this year, but they have been competitive in a lot of their games. They do have recent wins against Indiana and Nebraska but they caught them in the midst of losing streaks.

Give Rutgers credit for beating the teams when they were down but they are still looking for a signature win. They will have that chance when the Wolverines come to town on Tuesday. Michigan looks a little vulnerable right now and it would be a huge win for the Scarlet Knights if they could pull it off.

The problem with Rutgers is they are averaging just over 66 points per game and that will not win a lot of games in any conference. They do play hard and can be the pesky team nobody wants to play but the scoring deficiencies make it hard for them to win games consistently.

Rutgers will look to finish the season strong and make a run in the tournament like they did last year, but for now they still sit near the bottom of the conference.
