In the most anticipated match up of the season, there are several key story lines to follow that will decide who walks away with a win between Duke and Virginia.

Duke at Virginia is shaping up to be the biggest match-up of the college basketball season to date and with the hype surrounding the game comes key story lines that will be important to look out for when they tip-off at 6 P.M. Saturday evening.

The two teams are vying for sole position at the top of the ACC along with North Carolina. All three stand at 8-1 in conference play, while Louisville sits closely behind at 8-2. It has become clear during this first half of ACC play that a single loss could make the difference between raising the regular season trophy and fourth place. Both teams are also in strong contention for one seeds and number one overall in the NCAA tournament.

Duke came out victorious in their first match-up, 72-70 at Cameron, sending the Cavaliers home with their first and only loss of the season to date. The game was defined by lack of  shooting from both sides and great play inside the paint. Duke was relentless and the vaunted Virginia defense seemingly could not buy a stop when they needed it most. Neither team has dropped a game since. Duke has rattle off five  wins while Virginia has managed three and an overtime time nail biter win at North Carolina State.

With the rematch coming within weeks of the original, the hype surrounding this game can only grow. So without any further delay, let’s look at the top story lines to watch in this rematch of top three teams.
