3. Dean Wade has returned for Kansas State

Like Baylor, Kansas State has had to deal with injuries to key players, but unlike the Bears, senior forward Dean Wade has returned from a foot injury, giving Weber his full complement of players that led the team to the Elite Eight last season. The 6-foot-8 Wade has struggled with injuries the last couple of seasons, having missed 10 games over that time.

Prior to suffering a foot injury against Georgia State, Wade was averaging 13.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 3.2 assists. He missed six games due to this injury, where the team went 4-2 in that span, including the miraculous comeback against West Virginia.

Since returning, he has netted 14.8 points, grabbed 5.4 rebounds and dished out 2.4 assists, while shooting 64% from the field. His return has helped the Wildcats continue the momentum they built while Wade was out, with his return Kansas State has gone 6-1 and jumped to the top of the Big 12 standings.
