Michigan Basketball suffered their first loss of the year when they played at Wisconsin in January. Can the return the favor on Saturday when they host the Badgers?

Matchup: Wisconsin Badgers (17-6, 9-3 Big Ten) at Michigan Wolverines (21-2, 10-2 Big Ten)

Date and time: Saturday, Feb. 7 at 12:00 p.m. ET

TV schedule: FOX

Location: Crisler Center, Ann Arbor, MI

Michigan Basketball has lost just three times in the last 365 days. One of those losses came on January 19 when the Badgers beat them in Wisconsin. In a game that went back and forth, the Badgers were able to pull away late and get a 10 point win. Michigan did not shoot the ball well but played good defense throughout the game as even in defeat they only gave up 64 points and six of those came in the last 20 seconds of the game.

Ethan Happ, who has been a thorn in Michigan’s side, led the way with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Jon Teske did a decent job guarding him, but Happ is a great inside player and can find ways to get points.

One of the biggest stories from the first meeting was that the Badgers held Iggy Brazdeikis scoreless. Brazdeikis will be looking to make up for that in this game and build off his 23 point performance against Rutgers on Tuesday. In that game, he would go 5-8 on three-pointers and finally looked to be back in his groove.

This is a big game for Michigan as they are tied with Purdue for the Big Ten lead and the Boilermakers have an easier schedule to finish off the year. The Wolverines need to protect their home court to keep pace with them.

So what do the Wolverines need to do to get a big win and seek revenge on the Badgers? We take a look at three keys for how they can do that.
