There are a handful of NCAA Basketball teams eyeing a No. 1 seed in the Big Dance, but they all have flaws. Here are my biggest concerns for the top 5 teams in the country.

With the calendar turned to February, conference tournaments are in sight and title contenders are becoming clearer. There have been no dominant teams this season, all the top teams have flaws that could upend them in postseason play. While as many as nine teams can be considered serious title contenders, the current AP top five of Tennessee, Duke, Virginia, Gonzaga and Kentucky are arguably not only the top contenders for the NCAA Tournament but also thought of as the lead national title contenders.

With no dominant teams, those five could and probably will over the next month and a half before Selection Sunday and teams like Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina, and Nevada could end up in the conversation depending on what happens between now and then, the current top five have the edge over those chasing them.

Tennessee sits atop the poll for the second time in school history and could be the best overall team in the country. Coming into the season, Duke had the most heralded recruiting class in the sport and that has led them to a No. 2 ranking at this point in the year. Virginia has rebounded from suffering a historic loss last season to be ranked 3rd right now and are just a two-point loss to Duke from a perfect season. Gonzaga is trying to crash this power-5 party, they began the year winning nine straight before battling through a two-game losing streak and has since won another 17 straight.

Rounding out the top five is the team a lot had as a preseason No. 1 and has slowly built towards those expectations, Kentucky. Since that opening-season loss to Duke, they have gone 18-2, with those two losses by a total of three points and are beginning to look like that team with those preseason expectations.

With every team having flaws, what is the one thing that could derail each of these five teams on the way to their ultimate goal? Here is, in my opinion, the one worry for each of the top five teams in the country as they move toward postseason play.
