As we enter a new week in NCAA basketball, where do teams stand in our power rankings? Tennessee, Duke, and Gonzaga all have an argument for the top spot.

Another week of NCAA basketball is about to begin and therefore I am back with my top-25+ power rankings. As you all know by this point, these rankings will break down my rankings as they stand with some insight into each team currently in the rankings. If a team is in the rankings this late in the season, it likely means that they are doing all the right things to not only potentially land an NCAA Tournament bid but potentially make a run if they get there.

Now, without any further ado, let’s dive on in. (Note: All statistics in this article were found via KenPom or Sports-Reference unless otherwise noted.)

Others to watch…

Maryland Terrapins: When they are at their best, Maryland definitely deserves to be ranked. They have, though, dropped three games recently and need to win a couple in a row to reach the rankings. This is definitely possible for the talented Terps.

Lipscomb Bison: One of the hottest teams in the nation, Lipscomb is yet to lose a game in 2019. I think that pretty much summarizes why they are in my “others to watch” section. The Bison are rolling through Atlantic Sun play.

Ohio State Buckeyes: After falling to the bubble a few weeks ago, Ohio State has responded quite well with three straight wins. And while they might still have work to do to be ranked, the potential is there when they play at their peak.

Auburn Tigers: Auburn has not really lived up to their quality rankings so far this season but they are supposed to be a top-15 team in the country. If they start to catch fire down the stretch, they could return to my rankings.

TCU Horned Frogs: During this past week, TCU took down both Oklahoma State (home) and Iowa State (away) to move up my rankings. The Horned Frogs still have a bit of room to go before returning to my top-25 but they have a fairly favorable upcoming schedule.

Dropped out: Mississippi State (16), Iowa State (18), Cincinnati (19), Baylor (21)
