Michigan and Michigan State will finally play this weekend to decide who is the best in Big Ten Basketball. But where do they land in this weeks power rankings and what about Purdue?

It was a strange week in the Big Ten. The worst team beat the best team, Nebraska snapped their losing streak, Michigan State lost one of their best players, again, and John Beilein got ejected from a game. The depth of the conference keeps shining and playing on the road has proved to be tough no matter who you are playing.

The top is separating itself from the rest of the pack, but as Penn State showed anyone can beat anyone on any given day. Through all of this, the Michigan schools are setting themselves up for a huge battle this weekend. Michigan will host Michigan State on Sunday in what should be a great game with the winner taking cotrol of the Big Ten.

Except Purdue is still tied with the two Michigan schools and have a very soft schedule to end the season. They may not be the best team, but they have the easiest path to the championship. Indiana will try and have something to stay about that as they battle the Boilermakers this week also.

What we do know is the Big Ten is deep and it has been hard to win on the road. This should be a great week of basketball and should shake up the rankings by the time the dust settles. So sit back enjoy the rankings and then enjoy a great week or Big Ten basketball.
