Big Ten Basketball Power Rankings: Indiana, Ohio State slides towards bottom

Penn State may only have two wins in the conference but they got their biggest win of the year on Tuesday when they upset Michigan at home. They may have got an assist from some questionable calls from the refs, but make no mistake they outplayed the Wolverines for large portions of that game.
Unfortunately, they could not follow it up with a win against Purdue but they did play them tight and continue to show that despite their record they still are a very competitive team and are continuing to play hard.
Lamar Stevens continues to be a force for the Nittany Lions and could very easily make first team all conference as he is averaging 19.2 points per game and 8 rebounds. If he could get some consistent help behind him the Nittany Lions could have a pretty good team.
They have two winnable games this week as they play both Nebraska and Illinois. Those teams are playing better but the Nittany Lions have a good shot to win one if not both of those games. No matter how they end the season they will be a tough out for anyone in the Big Ten tournament.
