International players from all over the globe feature as some of college basketball’s best and most entertaining players. So what would it look like to form teams with these players based on continents?

Once a year the NBA has its Rising Stars USA vs World challenge and fans are reminded of the phenomenal International talent all across the league. But in college basketball, many current international players go under the radar. In reality, every year college rosters across the nation have International players who have chosen to leave some far away home to come play basketball in the U.S.A. But who are they and where did they come from?

It’s time to uncover the top International college basketball players. Here, we will form teams not based on country but by continent. Any current college basketball player that calls home to somewhere besides the United Sates will be eligible. With that said, there are a few disclaimers to be made.

Players will be assigned a team according to the hometown listed on their respective team rosters. This helps avoid subjectivity as some International players hold dual citizenships. Also, only players who have played at least 50% of the 2018-19 season will be considered (apologies to the likes of Udoka Azubuike, Killian Tillie, and Sagaba Konate).

Finally, these teams are imagined and formed as actual rosters and ranked as such. Before we get to naming and ranking the squads, here are the six continent teams listed alphabetically:

  • Team Africa
  • Team Asia
  • Team Europe
  • Team Latin America
  • Team North America
  • Team Oceania
