Michigan Basketball plays their last two regular season games on the road starting with Maryland on Sunday. Can they get a big road win heading into their showdown with Michigan State?

Matchup: Michigan Wolverines (24-4, 13-4 Big Ten) at Maryland Terrapins (21-8, 12-6 Big Ten)

Date and time: Sunday, Mar. 3 at 3:45 p.m. ET

TV schedule: CBS

Location: XFINITY Center, College Park, MD

Michigan is coming off one of their best offenses performances in over a month and they did it without injured Charles Matthews. Jon Teske scored a career-high 22 points which included making all three of his three-point attempts. Iggy Brazdeikis added in 20 as the Wolverines blew out Nebraska 82-53. The win came after Michigan lost to Michigan State last weekend for their only loss at home this year.

Charles Matthews sat out of the game after injuring his right ankle against the Spartans. Isaiah Livers started in his place and scored 12 points. Livers has been a key piece to the Wolverines off the bench but many have been thinking he should be starting. He proved he belonged and has been great for the Wolverines this year.

Maryland is coming into this game after getting blown out by suddenly red-hot Penn State. The Terrapins were the latest victim of the Nittany Lions who has won four of their last five that started with their upset win against Michigan. The Terrapins were never in the game as Penn State beat them by 17. Bruno Fernando was limited to just nine points and was relatively ineffective. They will need him to play better on Sunday if they want to beat Michigan.

This is a big game for both teams as Maryland is trying to solidify their spot in the NCAA Tournament, while Michigan is trying to keep their hopes of a regular season Big Ten title alive. Here is what Michigan needs to do to get the win.
