10) Atlanta Hawks (via Dallas Mavericks) – Bol Bol, C, Oregon
Atlanta showed a distinct trait they’re looking for last year when they drafted Trae Young and Kevin Huerter in the first round – they want to create a team built around shooting. Not only is Bol Bol 7-3 and an elite shot blocker, but he’s also a deadeye three-point shooter. His skill set is perfect for what the Hawks are trying to accomplish.

9) Miami Heat – De’Andre Hunter, SF, Virginia
Hunter’s offensive game is still growing (he has made tremendous strides in that area and will continue to do so) but he’s also an elite defender. He’ll be able to contribute on that end of the court right away while his offensive game improves. One of the best all-around players in the country.

8) New Orleans Pelicans – Jaxson Hayes, C, Texas
Anthony Davis is as good as gone, so the Pelicans need a big man. Enter Hayes, who is an elite athlete at 6-11 and fits the mold of a rim-running, lob-catching, shot-blocking center. With that as his floor and star-level upside, New Orleans might gamble on him.

7) Washington Wizards – Nassir Little, SF, North Carolina
Speaking of blowing it up, that’s what the Wizards need to do so they’ll pick the best player available here. That’s Little, who is still learning the game but has all the obvious physical gifts he needs to become a star. With proper coaching, that will happen sooner rather than later.

6) Memphis Grizzlies – Darius Garland, PG, Vanderbilt
Mike Conley won’t be around in Memphis much longer and they need to find a long-term replacement. Garland was the best point guard prospect in this freshman class and played incredibly well for Vanderbilt before suffering a season-ending knee injury just five games into the season.
