Locks

The only team that can be considered a lock is Washington. Site expert Lukas Harkins currently has the Huskies as a 10 seed in his projected field of 68. In my opinion, they almost need to win the Conference Tournament to really feel safe because if they get outed early and someone like Arizona State steals the Automatic Qualifier, they put themselves in that massive bubble conversation.

Bubble Teams

Arizona State is the only other team that is on the bubble and anywhere near it. What do they need to do to get a tournament bid? I believe they need to win at least two tournament games to secure their bid. Why? Since the bubble is so vast, it is hard to see them getting in if they lose their first or second game in the tournament against a lower seed. Lukas has Arizona State as one of his last four in, so anything other than a loss in the tournament championship can leave the Sun Devils on the wrong side of the bubble.
