1. They have an insane amount of talented depth.

Gonzaga has arguably the most stacked roster in the entire nation. And while I understand that Duke’s top four are absolutely ridiculous, Gonzaga’s bench is simply more talented. The Bulldogs can go deep into their bench and still trot out a player that would start on just about every other team in the country. This roster is filled with talent from top-to-bottom and they all bring a little something different to the table.

Of course, the two major stars are Rui Hachimura and Brandon Clarke but it is hard to find a better reserve unit in the entire nation. Geno Crandall, Jeremy Jones, and Filip Petrusev are all valuable parts of the team and they have come off of the bench throughout this season. Oh, and that doesn’t even consider the fact that star big man Killian Tillie, who missed most of this season, is now back in action. And while his return might have messed up their rotation a bit during the past couple of days, he should quickly work back to playing 10-15 huge minutes for the Zags.

Gonzaga is the best offensive unit in the entire nation, even after the dreadful performance against Saint Mary’s, and for good reason. Every single player in the rotation not only has the ability to score consistently but do so by creating for themselves. Even though Josh Perkins is one of the better creators in the nation, it is always a major advantage when every player on the floor can go their own basket, or at least their own quality look, when necessary. This includes the likes of starting sophomore wings Zach Norvell Jr. and Corey Kispert, both of whom have the ability to get hot from distance of fill it up in other ways.

This team is not only extremely talented at the top but there are very few teams in the nation, if any, who can keep up with their rotation.
