The NCAA Tournament is finally here. North Carolina and Kentucky headline in the Midwest Region but who else could threaten? Here is our complete preview.

Now that the NCAA Tournament field has been bracketed, it is time to dive into analyzing all of the matchups. I am sure that everyone here has already filled out at least a bracket or two already but hopefully, this extra analysis helps to take your bracket experience to the next level. For this article, I will be breaking down the Midwest Region, which is headlined by two bluebloods in North Carolina and Duke as the top seeds.

Will these be the two teams that actually escape the region and dance late into March or will someone else surprise us? That is exactly what this season is about and the dance is only a few days away. So, with the games quickly approaching, I also broke down each of the other three regions of the NCAA Tournament as well. Now, without any further ado, let’s quickly dive into breaking down the Midwest Region by analyzing some of the favorites, top players to watch, and then the first round matchups.
