The NCAA Tournament field is set. How does each team rank relative to the rest of the field heading into the biggest event of the college sports year?

The NCAA Tournament is here. Finally. After months of waiting, the most exciting month of the college basketball year has arrived and it is time to celebrate. The NCAA Tournament is always one of the best events of the entire year due to the high stakes involved and the heavy allegiances that many fans pledge to their favorite school or alma mater. With brackets being filled out around the nation, the NCAA Tournament is an incredibly inclusionary event that allows everyone to be involved in some way.

So, with the tournament quickly approaching, I thought I would put together a bit of a “cheat sheet” on all of the teams in the field. I know that it can be difficult to follow along with some mid-major leagues or to stay up for the west coast games throughout the year so it’s understandable if you haven’t seen every team play this season. That’s part of why I wrote this article. In addition to simply ranking all 68 teams in the Big Dance, this article will give a little breakdown of what each team does well, who their best players are, and why they might be fun to watch.

Of course, I could be 100% off on these rankings in just a few days but this is always a fun exercise that helps put a little analysis on every team in the field in the same place. This piece is a ton of work to put together but I hope that you enjoy and that it helps your holiday season (aka March Madness!). Now, without any further ado, let’s dive into breaking down each team in the 2019 NCAA Tournament.
