March Madness is finally here. ACC Basetball has the top three teams in the country and seven teams overall. Can the league win another national title?

March is finally here, and after months of action and another grueling ACC Basketball regular season in the books, it’s officially the greatest time of the year.

For the ACC, that means the chance at another national championship and this year the conference has three No. 1 seeds in Duke, Virginia and North Carolina. Overall, the conference placed seven teams in the big dance as Florida State, Virginia Tech, Louisville and Syracuse will also represent the ACC.

This was only the second time in NCAA history that one conference placed three No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament. Duke, the outright ACC champion, is the No. 1 overall seed. Virginia, who shared the regular-season title with North Carolina, is the No. 2 overall seed while UNC is the No. 3 overall seed. Gonzaga is the final No. 1 seed.

Finally, Syracuse received a No. 8 seed in Jim Boeheim’s 34th career appearance in the NCAA Tournament at Syracuse,

The ACC is the winningest conference in NCAA Tournament history and has won two of the previous four national championships.
