This Kansas Basketball team has struggled throughout the season but now the NCAA Tournament is here and anything can happen. Here are the keys to victory against Northeastern.

If this Kansas Basketball program wants to move past them losing the Big 12 regular season title streak then they need to come together and make a run in this NCAA Tournament and that gets started Thursday afternoon against Northeastern.

The way they played during conference play has them on major upset alert going into this game. They have the talent to turn it on but they do have many limitations that could keep them from winning this game.

If the Kansas Jayhawks are going to win this game, they need to focus on themselves and play well. This Northeastern squad is no slouch but if Kansas plays how they’re capable of then they should win this game. There are areas that they’re going to be able to take advantage of some Kansas weaknesses to compete in this game.

We’ve seen so many Kansas players struggle all season long. They’ve dealt with the Udoka Azubuike injury which is a huge loss to go with both the Silvio De Sousa and LaGerald Vick drama. This team has settled in with their current group.

For a team with national title aspirations to start the season, you absolutely do not want to get upset early, but this team just needs to take it game by game from here on out. In these game they have areas they can take advantage of but here are the three main areas they need to have success in if they want to advance into the round of 32.
