5. Myles Cale, Guard, Seton Hall

Clutch shooting is a major factor in making it far into the NCAA Tournament, and luckily for the Seton Hall Pirates they have that in the form of two people named Myles.

Sure, Myles Powell is a clutch shooter and a great player. I think we expect him to perform.

However, the other Myles that has the shooting to carry his Pirates for miles is Myles Cale.

Cale, a sophomore guard from Delaware, is averaging just ten points per game on the season.

Cale has the skill to hit shots in the biggest situations, and that skill was on full display early in the season, when Cale hit a game-winning shot to down the Kentucky Wildcats.

That shot practically jumpstarted the Pirates from their poor start, lifting them all the way to an NCAA Tournament berth.

Now, against seven seed Wofford, the Pirates will have a task. in a high-shooting, fast-paced game, they’ll need more than just Powell in order to take down red hot Wofford.

Cale is the perfect candidate to aid in that conquest. He has the clutch gene, the shooting ability, and is the prototypical supporting player to a superstar in Myles Powell. Cale is the ideal breakout player in the tournament, given his past performances, combined with the fact that he is overshadowed by a bigger star.

It’ll take more than Powell to get through Wofford and beyond, so Cale will get the call to lift his Pirates to victory.
