With the NCAA Tournament just moments away from tip off, it’s time to look at several seniors who will be crucial to their teams throughout the Big Dance.

March is when stars are born in the college basketball world.

Every single NCAA Tournament, stars come through in the clutch, whether it be premier freshmen, unsung heroes, and yes, experienced seniors.

Sure, defense wins championships. However, if you could pick something else that plays just as big of a role in winning championships, it is experience.

Experience is crucial in basketball, but it is even more crucial in the NCAA Tournament.

The pressure of the moment, the bright lights, and everything that weighs on just one game can be too much for the average college basketball player to handle.

That’s when the seniors come into play. Their production, leadership, and most importantly, previous tournament experience make them the most valuable assets during the NCAA Tournament.

In this year’s tournament, the field is rich with superstar seniors.

While there are always the big name one-and-done freshmen that make big plays in the tournament, this year has the potential to be the year of the senior. Most to all of the contending teams are lead by at least one star senior, which makes for the perfect combination of senior stardom, especially with those seniors on display in the biggest games.

Before we dive into the list, let’s go over a couple of things:

  • This list is in no particular order. This is not a top ten list, just a list of ten.
  • The teams represented on the list are not necessarily the top ten contending teams, rather just the ten key seniors.

Let’s tip off the list!
