1. Ball security

The Wolf Pack offense runs through Caleb Martin and Cody Martin. The twin senior forwards for Nevada are the heart and soul of this team. Nevada made the Sweet Sixteen in last year’s NCAA Tournament, and surprised many as they advanced to the Sweet Sixteen and the second weekend of the Tournament. The dream run was stopped short with a loss to the Loyola Chicago Ramblers, who would then go on to the Final Four.

So make no mistake, this is absolutely a revenge tour for the Martin brothers. The key factor that they will need to focus on in order for the Wolf Pack to beat the Gators is ball security. As the Nevada offense is run through the twins, who have a combined average of over 31 points per game, they need to be efficient on the offensive end against Florida.

Specifically, they need to maximize assists while also trying to minimize their turnovers. During the regular season, Caleb and Cody combined for just a measly assist to turnover ratio of 2 to 1. That is a pretty poor ratio and not a sustainable one for a team who is hoping to make a run in the tournament this year.
