After one weekend of the NCAA Tournament, the stage is set for this weekend’s Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight. Here are three bold predictions.

Had enough basketball after the opening rounds of the NCAA Tournament? You’re out of luck. We are in store for a load of basketball, starting with the Sweet 16 on Thursday. If the first four days of madness weren’t enough for you, expect the next four to be that times one thousand. This year’s Sweet 16 is one of the best groups in a long, long time, and thus should make for some exciting games.

All 12 No. 1, 2, and 3 seeds are still alive. That is amazing. The talent and prestige certainly won’t be lacking over the course of the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight. In addition, the non-top-3 seeds are equally as dangerous. Virginia Tech and Florida State are on fire, and I don’t think anyone wants to face off against the red-hot Auburn Tigers or Oregon Ducks.

Everybody is playing their absolute best basketball at the best time possible, which is going to make for some fireworks over the four day span. Whether it be big dunks, clutch plays, and please, please, please a buzzer-beater, the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight will not disappoint. Luckily, we’ve got predictions for you. Some bold ones at that. The remaining group of teams leaves much intrigue in the field, and thus is the perfect combo for some pure insanity, or might I say, (March) Madness.

Here are three bold (emphasis on bold), predictions for the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament.
