Annually, the NCAA Tournament’s second weekend is stacked with the best players in the entire sport. This year is no different. Here are the top sixteen players in the Sweet Sixteen.

While the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament were not exactly the most exciting in terms of upsets or Cinderella’s, there is one major upside to all of the top three seeds advancing to the Sweet Sixteen.

There is an abundance of star power.

Whether it be the once-in-a-lifetime talent of Zion Williamson, the Cinderella leader Payton Pritchard, or the record breaking numbers of Brandon Clarke, this year’s NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen field is arguably the biggest in recent memory in terms of star power.

Seemingly every team has at least one superstar, which should make for a truly electric slate of Sweet Sixteen games on Thursday and on Friday.

And even though the upsets have not been plentiful, the big performances have. The best players in the field have asserted themselves are true superstars, putting up mind-boggling numbers en route to leading their teams to the second weekend.

Before the Sweet Sixteen games commence, let’s take a look at the top sixteen players in the field. The following list is in order, but is not based off of their performances through the first two games, rather their overall talent.

Great teams need at least one superstar to win championships, and the following sixteen players have what it takes to lead their teams to the Final Four and beyond.
