NCAA basketball recruiting is a non-stop, 365-day-per-year event. Who are the top prospects on the national radar from the 2020 high school class?

There is no offseason in NCAA basketball. Even when teams have already been eliminated from the postseason, recruiting a year-round event and coaches are always seeking out the next group of talents for their program. And while most programs should be focused on securing talents for next season, it is always prudent to stay “ahead of the game”. It is for this reason that it is important to take note of the top rising prospects in the 2020 high school class.

These players represent the future of college basketball as those who could dominate the scene in just a couple of short years. As many fans know, it is impossible to gain traction as an elite program in the nation without high-quality recruiting. If you look around the nation, all of the best schools are those that are consistently near the top of recruiting rankings. This includes those powerhouses such as Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, and North Carolina while schools such as Villanova and Gonzaga are starting to take the next step on the recruiting front.

For this article, I am going to break down each of the top-10 recruits from the 2020 class (as ranked by 247Sports). None of these players are committed at this point in time but you can be sure in knowing that each will end up at one of the most prestigious basketball schools in the nation. Now…let’s dive in.
