After the Bulldogs suffered a very emotional loss to Texas Tech in the Elite Eight Brandon Clarke’s future was a big question on everyone’s mind. Will the leading shot blocker in the nation return to Gonzaga Basketball for his senior year or will he opt into declaring for the NBA Draft?

Junior forward Brandon Clarke for the Gonzaga Bulldogs has had an impressive resume through his years of playing basketball. After the Bulldogs suffered a very emotional loss to Texas Tech in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, Clarke‘s future was a big question on everyone’s mind. Will the leading shot blocker in the nation return to Gonzaga Basketball for his senior year or will he opt into declaring for the NBA Draft?

Clarke has an impressive resume.

Throughout his career, Clarke has just continued to improve his skills and ability to play basketball. This season alone has been a huge highlight season for Clarke who broke the Gonzaga single-season block record with a total of 117 blocks in the 2019 season with the Zags. Clarke’s Resume includes multiple awards, some of these awards include becoming the first WCC Player to win the Newcomer of the year award as well as the defensive player of the year in the same year.

What’s next for Brandon Clarke?

The big question is what’s next for Brandon Clarke? Will Clarke choose to declare for the NBA Draft? With the impressive career that Clarke has had, it is without a doubt that multiple NBA recruiters are looking at Clarke.  I believe that without a doubt that Clarke will be declaring for the NBA draft in 2019. Clarke would be a great fit for any NBA team, but there are teams where his skill could just keep on improving. You just have to look at Clarke’s overall resume and its clear that Clarke has a natural talent and ability to play in the NBA.

Next. Looking ahead to top 2020 prospects. dark

It’s without a doubt in my mind that Clarke will for sure be drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft.  I believe that Clarke could go as early as the 11th round pick to the L.A. Lakers or as late as 24th to the Portland Trailblazers, but no matter what team Clarke gets drafted by we all know that his size, talent, and ability to play will be a good investment to any team.
