What are Texas Tech’s odds of winning the National Championship?

Very, very good.

Texas Tech could make a good case at being the favorite to win the National Championship out of the four remaining teams.

Michigan State has looked good, but the Spartans are not as hot as Texas Tech. Virginia is the highest seed remaining, but they are not at all an experienced Final Four team, and still have a lot to prove.

Auburn is the least-likely team to win the National Championship as a five seed, but the Tigers are the hottest team out of the four.

If Texas Tech can survive Michigan State, then they will have an excellent chance of winning the whole tournament. The Red Raiders match up very well against Virginia and have the defense to slow down the speedy pace of the Auburn Tigers.

Texas Tech will need to get through Michigan State first, which is not at all an easy task, as the Spartans are the favorite to win on paper, and have the experience in both their players and coaching, but if they can win their Final Four game, I really love Texas Tech’s chances against either Auburn or Virginia in the National Championship.

It is much easier said than done, but Texas Tech has a very good chance of being the team to come out of the Final Four on top.
