Texas Tech Basketball is heading to its first-ever Final Four, after knocking off Gonzaga in the Regional final. Here are three keys for the Red Raiders in the Final Four against the Michigan State Spartans.

After defying all odds throughout the season, Texas Tech Basketball has clinched a trip to its first-ever Final Four.

After defeating the Gonzaga Bulldogs in the Elite Eight, the three seed Red Raiders are still dancing and now will head to Minneapolis for the Final Four, where they will take on the Michigan State Spartans, a two seed.

The Spartans are coming off of an odds-defying dance of their own, defeating the top-overall seed Duke Blue Devils.

Michigan State will be favored in the game by virtue of their seed, but Saturday’s Final Four game has all the makings of being an absolute classic. Both the Red Raiders and Spartans are playing their best basketball at the right time, and have the means to win their next two games for a National Championship.

The Red Raiders have out-grinded every team that they have faced thus far in the tournament, and they’ll have to stick true to that game plan against Michigan State, as, for the third consecutive game, the Red Raiders will not be favored.

Regardless of the odds, Texas Tech has as good of a chance of any of the four remaining teams to win the National Championship, and that journey will continue on Saturday.

In order to take down the red-hot Michigan State Spartans, the Red Raiders will surely need to bring their A-game. Here are three keys in particular for Texas Tech, as they will look to play their way into their first National Championship game in school history.
