Who are the NCAA Basketball best players in the country based on their respective class in college?

In this article, I want to explain who I think are the best freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors respectively in the country. There are so many good players in NCAA Basketball Mid-Major conferences that go unnoticed because they do not play some of the competition that someone like Zion plays, nor do they get the attention of someone like him. That will not play as big of a factor in my choice in my list as I do not care if the player plays at Duke or if they play at Grand Canyon.

This list will have three factors mainly. Their stats that they had, teams overall performance, and what they meant to the team. An example of that would be Zion, and how Duke struggled mightily without him, so he clearly made a difference for the Blue Devils. I also will take a look into some stats that people do not understand and I will do my best to explain what they mean.

Honorable Mentions

Freshman – Romeo Langford – Indiana

Sophomore – Nickeil Alexander-Walker – Purdue

Junior – Carsen Edwards – Purdue

Senior – Jarron Cumberland – Cincinnati
