Texas Tech Basketball is officially into the national spotlight after making the title game. What are the top storylines for the Red Raiders this offseason?

After making the Elite Eight for the first time in school history the season prior, it was hard to imagine that Texas Tech Basketball could top that so quickly. Yet Chris Beard and the Red Raiders managed to not only get past that and make even more history, but they also got to the Final Four and the 2019 national title game.

There were moments where this team nearly came to winning it all in regulation but Texas Tech fell into overtime to Virginia. But as much as the Cavaliers were the big winner overall, the Red Raiders gained just as much from a program perspective. They went from a bottom-tier Big 12 team to right up there with the Kansas Jayhawks in terms of national relevance as of 2019. And Coach Beard has elevated his own profile to one of the top head coaches in the game.

Now comes the tough part for the program – keeping it up. They’ll be four of their eight rotation players due to graduation, while Big 12 Player of the Year Jarrett Culver will likely be off to the NBA Draft as a projected top-10 pick. The Red Raiders will have to find ways to replace them and make it back to the NCAA Tournament.

There are some big topics that Texas Tech Basketball will have to deal with this offseason. Here are three specifically to take a look at.
