2. Arizona

The Arizona Wildcats have had a lot of drama surrounding their program with the FBI investigation. That led to a rough 2018-19 season that ended with a 17-15 record, but with Sean Miller still leading the way, they’re in a spot to get back to prominence assuming no more struggles happen.

Miller has been in Tuscon for the past decade after starting his head coaching career at Xavier. In his time with the Wildcats, he has been very successful leading them to seven NCAA Tournaments, but they have yet to make the Final Four.

He has been an elite recruiter during his time there and despite the rough 2018-19 season he has been able to put together the 2nd ranked recruiting class according to 247sports. They have four players in the top 54 headlined by five-star recruits Nico Mannion and Josh Green. They also picked up graduate transfer Max Hazzard from UC Irvine, which won’t be a teammate with Brown if he goes to Arizona, but it still is a bigtime landing which shows their recruiting dominance.

Some of the lower ranked recruits who he could be teammates with are Zeke Nnaji and Terry Armstrong who are both four-star recruits. You can never know for sure what a season will look like and who will turn pro after one year, but with most five-star recruits you can assume they’ll be one-and-done.

The FBI investigation affected how the recruited some, but it hasn’t impacted their 2019 class at all. They have an elite recruiting class and they seem to be right back at the top of the basketball world as an elite program in today’s game. Jordan Brown is a top talent and could be given a chance to shine if he chooses to play for Sean Miller at Arizona.
