After recently reclassifying, Johnny Juzang is one of the top 2019 prospects. Which NCAA Basketball programs are still actively recruiting him?
With the majority of the top 2019 prospects already committed to their respective schools, it should come as no surprise that Johnny Juzang is one of the most highly sought-after players at the moment. Juzang, who was originally a member of the 2020 class, recently announced his decision to reclassify and also named a final list shortly after. He is now one of the top unsigned players in the country and four NCAA basketball programs are still alive in this recruiting battle.
Ranked at No. 21 in the 2019 class, it is easy to see why some of the top programs in the nation are interested in landing him. Juzang stands at 6-foot-6 and is an absolute knockdown shooter from beyond the arc. A standout scorer at all three levels, Juzang can fill it up off the bounce, on the move, or in catch-and-shoot situations. Given the current state of basketball, there is no such thing as too much shooting and top programs are looking to add their final piece or two to their 2019-20 roster.
Juzang’s final four includes Oregon, Kansas, Virginia, and Kentucky.

All of these options represent the potential for immediate playing time on a national championship caliber roster. With the transfer market still full of top talents and NBA Draft decisions upcoming, it is hard to say exactly what each roster will look like when the season rolls around in November but it is fair to say that each will be ranked somewhere in the preseason top-25. No matter what, it seems likely that fans will be seeing Juzang play big minutes in March next season.
Now, without any further ado, let’s dive deeper into this recruitment and analyze his potential fit at each school and where he might be leaning.
