2. Kentucky Wildcats

Kentucky has more players drafted in the last 4 seasons than San Diego State has had drafted ever. This would be the place for him to go if he wants to be a high pick in the NBA draft. Jaden McDaniels even came out as said this would be his ” dream school” to go to.

The pros of going to Kentucky are endless if you really think about it. You have the opportunity to play for a coach that takes a team of freshman every year, and turns them into a second-weekend team. Calipari also produces first rounders out the wazoo. He will also have a chance to compete for a national title as even when one of coach Calipari’s teams are down they still find a way to make a run in the tournament.

The cons are limited, but there is still more than you would expect. At Kentucky it can be tough to stand out. McDaniels would be the top recruit coming in, but he might not post numbers similar to some of the other top recruits in this class. This may not be that big of an issue considering some of his other options for schools play a more defensive game that would also limit his stats. Another con is that he would have to travel across the country to go to school. None of his family or friends would ever get to see him other than on television in all reality.

Kentucky I think has a legit chance to sign McDaniels as long as he does not mind traveling. His family seems to be extremely supportive of whatever choice he is going to make, which can always help to make the decision to go across the country a lot easier.
