1. Washington Huskies

The hometown team of the Washington Huskies, in my opinion, is currently the favorite to land him. He would have so much support playing for the school that is less than an hour from Federal Way. The Huskies also seem to be an upstart program under Mike Hopkins.

The pros are just like Kentucky’s, limitless. He would be very close to home so that all of his family and friends would be able to watch, he would play alongside a dominant frontcourt mate in Isaiah Stewart, and he would still be a little hidden from the mainstream media. Not to mention if he wants to he could venture to one of the best upstart college football programs in the NCAA. He would play in a system that won this year with limited talent, and next year could add two top-10 recruits, someone must have done something right with recruiting if it happens.

The cons here are much smaller than any other place. The only con I can really think of is that the Huskies typically do not translate well into the NBA. They produce some good role players in the NBA, but that is about it in recent history. To go along with that they appear to have some of the biggest busts as well in Isaiah Thomas and Marquese Chriss.

The only other issue I could think of is they do not have the history of many of the other schools on his list, but with that said maybe Stewart and him could create some.
