Big 12 Basketball: Oklahoma and Oklahoma State among best uniforms
By Adam Childs
Kansas has ruled Big 12 basketball for a little over a decade on the court. But are they the best-looking team out there or do the Oklahoma schools top the list?
We have already broken down the Big Ten and ACC as far as uniforms go and now we tackle Big 12 Basketball. While other conferences have stolen some of their teams away, they haven’t stolen how solid a lot of their basketball uniforms are.
For the most part, the conference is a treat to look at during the basketball season. There are a few teams that need to change a lot (cough; Baylor) and a couple of others that could make some minor tweaks and they would look great.
Kansas is the pride of the conference when it comes to actual play on the court (until this year when they finally got upended), but are they the best-looking team out there.
The one thing the basketball uniforms do is keep it relatively simple, especially when you compare it to the way some of the football teams look. The Big 12 seems to experiment every week on the gridiron they don’t always look the best.
Fortunately, the basketball teams don’t copy their football counterparts and we are all luckier for it. Most of the teams look great every night out and if you aren’t paying that much attention you probably think they all have great uniforms. You wouldn’t be wrong for most of them, but there are a few once you really look can tell they could definitely change some things.
We try and take a look at all the ways the uniforms are great, bad and how they can change. Here are the uniforms ranked from 10 (Baylor) all the way down to one (not telling yet).
