Jalen Johnson is one of the top NCAA basketball recruiting prospects in the 2020 class. How might he fit at each of the final four schools on his list?

Recruiting season is heating up around the nation. With AAU circuits starting to hit their stride, NCAA basketball coaches everywhere are hoping to land their future stars. This includes evaluating under-the-radar talent or aggressively targeting the elite-level prospects in the land. And while every program has different recruiting priorities, it is reasonable to assume that Jalen Johnson is at the top of the list for all four of the schools that are still remaining in his list: Arizona, Wisconsin, Duke, and Kentucky.

Ranked as the No. 3 overall recruit in the 2020 class, Johnson is a unique point forward. While I admit that this term is thrown around a bit too often, it fits Johnson’s game perfectly. At 6-foot-8, he boasts plenty of height to play just about any position and his court vision is off the charts. He is also a talented scorer with plenty of athleticism to be a capable and versatile defender. With his tremendous physical attributes and high skill level, it is no secret why some of the top programs in the country are seeking a commitment.

With Johnson supposedly closing in on making his collegiate decision, each of the four schools in his final list is worthy of discussion. Arizona, Wisconsin, Duke, and Kentucky represent some of the elite programs in the nation and he could take any of them deep in the NCAA Tournament during his lone season in college. He is a tremendous talent and all of these schools would place plenty of pieces around him.

So, without any further ado, let’s dive into Johnson’s final four. (I have no inside information with regards to Johnson’s recruitment or any potential favorites. This piece just breaks down the four programs and how he might fit at each.)
