Steven Enoch – Louisville

Draft status: Enoch is testing the draft waters, but I think the odds are he ends up returning to school for his senior season.

Draft projection: Looking through mock drafts, there is definitely the potential for Enoch to be a second round pick if he stays in the draft.

Role Player Projection:

Strengths: After fairly underwhelming freshmen and sophomore seasons in which he played limited minutes and averaged 1.6 and 3.4 points respectively, Enoch transferred to Louisville and sat out the 2017-18 season. This past season, however, Enoch showed a lot of positive signs. He displayed good athleticism and was bouncy around the rim. In 19.1 minutes per game, Enoch averaged 9.4 points and 5.2 rebounds on 53% shooting. He has also flashed the ability to stretch the floor, which could intrigue some NBA teams. Although on limited attempts, Enoch shot 14-39 (36%) from three and 82% from the line.

Weaknesses: Enoch is still fairly raw for a player that’s been in the college ranks for three seasons. He’s shown the ability to improve, but his three years in college have made him a little “older” than some teams might like. Although the shooting potential is encouraging, it’s not clear whether Enoch has the elite athleticism/defensive potential to succeed at the next level.
